The suspension module is responsible for maintaining a stable ride height of the pod. Due to tight braking tolerances (0.20") a thorough analyzation of the characteristics of the suspension system was needed.

This is a full pod render. The two suspension modules I worked on are located in the front and rear of the pod.

These graphs were generated in MATLAB utilizing Simulink. The road condition used is modeled after a wheel rolling over a rectangular ledge. Parameters for the road condition are based on the tube specs.

2017 DBF Plane (Solidworks Photoview Render) Though I only designed the wing folding mechanism, I was responsible for creating this CAD model, and renders for the final design paper.

On DBF my role was to design the mechanical system that would allow the plane to fold its wings to fit in a tube. The design was meant to be simple, robust, and rapidly manufacturable for quick repairs at competition.

Part of the competition was for the plane to fold, and fit into a tube. This render shows the caps of the tube with the cylindrical body hidden.
